Gettting to Know Children's Director Nicole

1. What is your favorite part about Racine?

I love the lake. We go early in the morning. Even before the life guards arrive. We enjoy the waves, each other and the quiet of the morning. It's beautiful and 10 minutes away from my home.

2. What is your favorite local place to eat? Tie between Picos Tacos and the Soup Shanty

3. What is your ideal day off? A day spent shopping

4. Where would you go on an all expenses paid vacation? I want to travel to Sweden with my family.

5. What was the last show you binged watched?

I don't watch TV so I really never pick what we watch....so the last thing that was binge watched was Dude Perfect. I have seen way too much Dude Perfect.

6. Do you prefer Pepsi, Coke, or Sparkling Water? Sparkling Water

7. Are you a coffee or tea drinker? COFFEE

8. What led you to Belle City Church?

God called us to Belle City. I worked at Harvest Community church when Pastor Justin was hired. During a meeting he said he was called to start a church in Racine and I felt it in my heart we would go with. I never once thought before that we would leave Harvest Community so I know that God wanted me in that meeting and planted his desires in my heart.

9. Give one cool God story from the last 2 years at Belle City Church.

I don't have one specific story but I have experienced an over all growth. I have learned to trust that God is in control and what is happening this very moment was planned by HIM. I am not to try to change the moment, I am to live in the moment with Him.

10. What is one random fun fact about yourself that nobody would ever guess?

I love being out in the rain and even a storm. I don't do it because I want to look like a responsible adult for my kids but I would love to walk down the block or sit on the porch during a storm.
